Alina – Founder (BA, MA, CELTA)
My English Lessons was created by Alina (Alice) to meet the needs of the growing non English-speaking community in London and surrounding areas.
Due the success of My English Lessons in these areas, we have now expanded into Central London, Essex and Hertfordshire. My English Lessons specialise in 1-2-1 tuition and small groups (max. 6 students), with the lessons focusing on English grammar and spoken English.
Alina has been pursuing a different career in the last few years, but she has entrusted My English Lessons to her colleague, Doug.
Doug
- Teaching Manager (CELTA)
Doug has many years experience in teaching and training adults and teenagers. Recently joined My English Lessons as Teaching Manager with great success.
Students of all ages respond to his relaxed teaching style and many pass their Trinity exams first time.
When not teaching, Doug’s primary function is to assess potential students, and design a course tailored to the students’ needs.
Having worked with students of all ages, different nationalities and backgrounds and various levels, our approach to teaching is very flexible.
